100 Teens Who Care Lakeland is excited to launch an alternative quarterly meeting format, and our first recipient of our collective donation will be the beautiful Bonnet Springs Park, which is currently under development near downtown Lakeland.
Bonnet Springs Park is going to be Lakeland's next great park! The vision for Bonnet Springs Park is to "create a place within walking distance of downtown Lakeland, where art, recreation, flora, fauna, and tranquility intersect by design. This unique place will provide social and economic benefits for all in a blended urban/natural park, and make the quality of life for future generations better." Bonnet Springs Park is a privately funded, public park.
Explorations V Children's Museum will be building a new facility on the site. In addition, Bonnet Springs Park will offer a 2-mile long multi-use path that will connect the activity centers in the park. Families will love the new playground, nature classroom and aquarium, nature center, tree house, and botanical gardens in addition to Explorations V. The park will also offer banquet facilities for larger events such as weddings, and will also host outdoor events at its amphitheater and outdoor lawn.
The Teen Board Members of 100 Teens Who Care Lakeland are so excited to share the vision of Bonnet Springs Park to their friends! We encourage families to attend this meeting together to learn about the exciting changes coming to our community!
